Abstract

Today, food security has become a very important issue in Indonesia. One of the processing industries that support food security is cassava industry. The purposes of this research are to calculate the added value in the supply chain of cassava tape, and to analyze the service fees obtained by each of the production factors used. Data are used in this study came from the field by means of observation and interviews. The research was carried on in June-August 2020. To describe the supply chain of cassava tape, this research is used descriptive data analysis method. This study also uses quantitative analysis to determine the added value by using the Hayami method. The results of this study are expected to encourage the development of agro-industry based on local commodities, especially based on cassava, to support the food security.
