Abstract
A discrete-time two-prey one-predator system with Holling Type-III functional response coupled with optimal harvest strategy is studied. The system represents the complex dynamics of two prey population, subjected to inter-species competition along with a constant harvesting effort and the predator population is exposed to intra-species competition. The conditions for existence and local stability of the fixed points are obtained, along with the sufficient conditions for permanent coexistence of the three species.
