Abstract

The issue of men domination in leadership positions in the workplace especially in the church organization is still not abating even though it is an old time issue. This research paper seeks to explore the inculcation of e-mentoring practice into the workplace to stem the tide since the female folk make up, in most cases, more than 50% of church membership and workforce in Africa and Asia. In this qualitative research case study involving a mentor and protégé, there were many insights that were given as to institutionalizing e-mentoring to help women get to top leadership positions in the church organizations. Many of these agreed with many researchers view while there are also new ideas not yet covered in literature that were discovered. It was discovered that to institutionalize e-mentoring practice, a lot of investment is needed in acquiring pieces of equipment and training in skills acquisition. In all, the church leaders must be willing to initiate the process if women aspiring to top leadership positions, within the church organization, will get their dreams realized.
