Abstract

In the case report presented, three cases of large endodontic lesions, which were the consequences of endodontic treatment failure, were studied. In all cases, a novel combination of triple antibiotics was used to successfully manage and heal the lesions, showing the promising potential of the antibiotic combination in resolving pathosis. The recently introduced combination of triple antibiotics (penicillin G, metronidazole, and ciprofloxacin; PMC) seems to be an effective medication against intracanal microbiota and appears to be able to assist in the preparing a matrix for the healing of endodontic lesions, making PMC a promising medicament against the dental root canal originated diseases.
