Abstract

Nephrotic syndrome occurs as a complication of CGVHD in the setting of PSCT. With increasing use of PSCT, an increasing incidence of this complication is likely. Nephrotic syndrome responds well to immunosuppression with prednisone and cyclosporine. Rituximab, a monoclonal anti-CD20 antibody, could be considered an important alternative for treatment. © 2005 by the National Kidney Foundation, Inc.
