Abstract

New localities are reported for 28 species of Argentine bats. One species, Vampyressa pusilla, has a locality reported in Argentina for the first time. New provincial records are reported for seven species, including Desmodus rotundus, H. macrotus, Histiotus magellanicus, Lasiurus cinereus. L. salinae, Myotis levis, and Tadarida brasiliensis. Information on habitat associations and reproduction are given for all species, including Noctilio albiventris, Artibeus planirostris, V. pusilla, D. rotundus, Eptesicus furinalis, H. magellanicus, L. salinae, L. varius, M. albescens, M. chiloensis, M. levis, M. nigricans, M. riparius, M. ruber, and T. brasiliensis. -Authors
