Abstract
The article focuses on debates regarding political power and the state in several European countries. Accordingly, the deliberations have changed to include the insecurity, multiplicity and indeterminacy of conceptions of identity in a post-modern world. It says that the virtual capillaries of instantaneous communication and trade embedded in the Internet have made contemporary globalization attainable.
