IDENTIFIKASI KUALITAS BATUGAMPING DAERAH SANDARAN, KALIMANTAN TIMUR SEBAGAI BAHAN BAKU SEMEN PORTLAND

Abstract

The rapid development of the last decade requires cement as one of the raw materials. Limestone is the main material for cement production, one of which is Portland cement. This study aims to identify the quality of limestone in the Sandaran area. The method used is grab sampling at several observation points. That samples was analize by XRF methode. The results of this study indicate that the limestone in the area has poor quality as a raw material for Portland cement.
