Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: The objective was to examine the efficacy and safety of beta blockers in the treatment of ET.We tested the following hypotheses.1. Beta blocker is more effective in controlling ET than placebo treatment.2. Beta blocker is more effective in controlling ET than no treatment.3. Beta blocker is more effective in controlling ET than other drugs for ET .4. One beta blocker is more effective in controlling ET than another beta blocker 5. A high dose is more effective in controlling ET than low dose.
