Abstract

High demand for food around the world and growing population are influencing the climate as well as degrading farming efficiency. Agriculture is viewed as an essential part of food security as well as national development. With the rising population, Agri-food requests are developing and representing the need to change from conventional agriculture techniques to advanced ones; also called Agriculture 4.0. Agriculture 4.0 is a customary platform of advanced techniques that can help world agriculture systems with arising innovations that upgrade all phases of the agricultural production and value chain. This study highlights the need for Agriculture 4.0. Further, discuss the enabling technologies of Agriculture 4.0. Five arising innovations, specifically, the Internet of Things, Robotics and Automation, Artificial -intelligence, big data examination, and blockchain, toward Agribusiness 4.0 are discussed thoroughly. In particular, key applications new advancements in agriculture, and related difficulties have been discussed in the study. The present study helps the researchers and practitioners of the agriculture sector to understand and adopt Agriculture 4.0 more easily.
