Abstract

The crisis in book culture was analyzed based on its causes and implications to academic studies and postgraduate evaluation in Physical Education. Convergence between book culture and university was pointed out. To promote book culture, the notion of library was proposed as a project of authorship, bearing in mind that production of academic literature is an educational pathway in which academic freedom and autonomy are main features.
