Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze determinants of e-wallet usage behavior including perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived risk of cash, and perceived government support. The population in this study include all students at Faculty of Economics and Business Jenderal Soedirman University. The research samples were taken using purposive sampling technique with the criteria of active students and had used e-wallet during the covid-19 pandemic, with the size is 172 samples. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed by applying technique of SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square). The findings suggest that three determinants i.e. perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived risk of cash partially have a positive effect on e-wallet usage behavior. Meanwhile, perceived government support has no significant on e-wallet usage behavior. The implication taken from the conclusion is that in order to improve e-wallet usage behavior, companies should give more attention to the perception of users in terms of ease of use and usefulness of e-wallet. Efforts that can be made by e-wallet companies are by improving e-wallet features and facilities.
