Abstract

In the June 1972 issue of Communications, we published Professor Abraham Kandel's Short Communication: “Computer Science--A Vicious Circle.” The editor invited fitrther discussion from the readership. Two of the responses which were received are printed below. We regret that it is not feasible to publish all of the responses we have received.
