Pulsão de morte: mortificação ou combate?

Abstract

Esse artigo pretende problematizar o conceito de pulsão de morte em Freud a partir de duas vertentes: de um lado, sinalizando seu aspecto mortificante e conservador. De outro, apontando possibilidades criativas impulsionadas pelas pulsões de morte no campo da clínica da psicanálise, como por exemplo, através do trabalho da sublimação.This paper sets out to investigate the concept of death instinct in Freudian thinking, based on two sources. On the one hand, it points out to its aspect of death and conservation. On the other, it shows creative possibilities stimulated by death instincts in the field of clinical psychoanalysis, using the work of sublimation as an example.
