Abstract

Abstrak: Ekosistem mangrove berfungsi sebagai habitat berbagai spesies dan pelindung lingkungan laut, serta memberikan manfaat besar bagi manusia, sehingga perlu dikelola secara berkelanjutan melalui pendekatan Economi Hijau untuk menjaga keanekaragaman hayati. Lokasi penelitian ini terletak di Sungai Mas, Desa Sebatuan, Kecamatan Pemangkat, Sambas, Kalimantan Barat, dengan menganalisis nilai ekonomi mangrove yang mencakup nilai guna langsung (kayubakar, buah bakau, kerang, kepiting, udang, ikan) sebesar Rp21.123.386.000/tahun, nilai guna tidak langsung sebagai penahan abrasi sebesar Rp122.287.087.200/5 tahun, dan nilai pilihan berdasarkan biodiversitas sebesar Rp51.953.859,75/tahun, dengan total nilai ekonomi mencapai Rp45.632.757.299,75/tahun untuk 3.696 jiwa penduduk desa.  Abstract: The mangrove ecosystem serves as a habitat for various species and acts as a protector of the marine environment, while also providing significant benefits to humans. Therefore, it must be managed sustainably through a Green Economy approach to preserve biodiversity. This study was conducted in Sungai Mas, Sebatuan Village, Pemangkat District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan, and analyzes the economic value of mangroves, including direct use values (firewood, mangrove fruit, clams, crabs, shrimp, fish) amounting to Rp21,123,386,000 per year; indirect use value as a barrier against abrasion estimated at Rp122,287,087,200 over five years; and option value based on biodiversity totaling Rp51,953,859.75 per year. The total economic value of mangrove utilization is Rp45,632,757,299.75 per year for a village population of 3,696 people.
