Regulatory processes in development and psychopathology

Abstract

In [this volume] various approaches to understanding developmental influences [on psychopathology] are presented. The volume begins with an explication of the discipline of developmental psychopathology. After issues of epidemiology, taxonomy, and assessment are examined, biological and genetic processes are addressed. The volume concludes with analyses of cognitive and social-cognitive processes, socioemotional processes, and systems theory approaches.
