ASESMEN DAN PENINGKATAN MANAJEMEN PROYEK SISTEM INFORMASI PADA AREA SCOPE MANAGEMENT DAN TIME MANAGEMENT MENGGUNAKAN PMMM (STUDI KASUS : PUTI UNIVERSITAS TELKOM)

Abstract

In every project, unexpected events have become commonplace. This can have a significant impact on the company or organization such as losses in the cost, time and quality of the project. Based on this, organizations need the implementation of project management as a solution to be able to manage projects well and efficiently and obtain optimal results. To be able to determine the condition of project management in an organization, we can use the project management maturity model. The project management maturity model is well known and applied by various organizations because it can be used to assess the organization's ability to understand the capabilities of managing existing projects. However, in Indonesia, especially for project based organizations (PBO) they still consider this model a new tool that still confuses many people. Due to this, this paper will discuss the implementation of project management maturity model in order to increase the maturity level of project management. This study uses the Project Management Maturity Model (PMMM) as a tool to assess the maturity level of project management and for the research phase uses COBIT 2019 Implementation phases 1-5 as a reference. The research method used is a qualitative method, namely self-assessment questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study are in the form of existing conditions and gaps that exist in the organization. In addition, there are also recommendations to support the implementation of improved project management.
