Abstract

Art 2 provides an overview of the scope of application of the MAR. After a short introduction, financial instruments on an organised trading venue are covered. Other financial instruments such as emission allowances and spot commodity contracts are dealt with afterwards. Lastly, an extended scope of application is addressed.
