Abstract

Authors have developed a simplified mathematical simulation model which can explain thermal phoenomena systematically. This enabled predicitive control scheme which is applied to the real time change of thermal conditions of the furnace, including the flow rate control of heavy fuel oil injection is slow in response but advantageous in fuel comsumption.
