Panteras e locas dissidentes: o ativismo queer em Portugal e Chile e suas tensões com o movimento LGBT

Abstract

O texto realiza uma análise de dois coletivos de ativismo queer existentes em Portugal e Chile. Após retomar a história dos movimentos LGBT (Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Travestis, Transexuais e Transgêneros) e as suas principais conquistas, em especial em relação aos marcos legais, o artigo apresenta e analisa o ativismo queer do grupo Panteras Rosa e do Coletivo Universitário de Dissidência Sexual (CUDS). O objetivo é, ao demonstrar como esses grupos se diferenciam e entram em confronto com o movimento LGBT, apontar quais são as principais características desse ativismo nesses países.The paper conducts an analysis about two collectives of queer activism from Portugal and Chile. After summarizing the history of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) movements and their main achievements, especially regarding legal frameworks, the article presents and analyses the queer activism conducted by the groups Panteras Rosa and the Coletivo Universitário de Dissidência Sexual (CUDS). The objective is, by demonstrating how these groups differentiate themselves from and clash against the LGBT movement, to indicate the main characteristics of such activism in these countries.
