Tantangan dalam Mewujudkan Perpustakaan Digital

Abstract

Information and communication technology becomes the main influence of change in every line of society life. Libraries are social institutions must follow these changes, namely by digitizing the library collection. Creating a digital library is aimed at providing efficiency in information dissemination, information storage, and user accessibility in accessing information. However, to build a digital library is not an easy matter, many challenges must be answered by library managers, especially regarding intellectual property rights. This paper aims to discuss the challenges in building the digital library, based on literature and some research results about digital libraries.
