Abstract

The dumbtruck market stepped up a gear following the entry of JC Bamford (JCB) Excavators limited and Case Europe into the sector. The ZF160 model of JCB gives seamless transmission through gears and controlled forward to reverse modulation. Case RD28 dumbtruck is powered by an Iveco 8210-22 six-cylinder, turbo diesel engine producing an output of 223 kW at 2000 rpm. Some other companies such as Caterpillar, Bell Equipment Company and Cummins also come up with new models having state of art technical features.
