Abstract

We encountered two multicystic acoustic schwannomas with intratumoral hemorrhage. The radiological appearance in each case was similar to that obtained with CT and MRI. From a histological perspective, in each case we observed hypervascularity with thin-walled, dilated vessels in clusters and hemosiderin depositions around the dilated vessels. © 2004 by Japanese Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
