Abstract

Corporate sickness has been a persistent phenomenon in the Indian economy since the last two decades. In recent years, this has assumed serious proportions because of staggering amount of funds locked up in sick units.This article by Panigrahy and Mishra discusses various approaches for predicting the phenomenon of sickness in industries and presents a multivariate cash flow model to predict corporate sickness.
