Abstract
Presents an alternative to community-based care (i.e., residential location) of including the patient's membership in multiple communities, both geographical and identificational, while at the same time establishing individual treatment goals within a context of a person–environment fit. The literature on social supports is cited as a basis for social integration as a goal. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2015 APA, all rights reserved)
