Abstract

Currently, the level of traffic or population is increasing in the Wonogiri Regency area, so that the increase in traffic affects the signal quality in the area, especially the LTE network. In this case, the Telkomsel provider made a breakthrough with the Red Site Solution objective, namely the addition of the 1,800 MHz LTE band which was previously only the L900 MHz band in WNG114 Tempursari. From the results of the addition of the L1800 MHz band that has been carried out in the area, it turns out that there are still issues, one of which is between the L900 and L1800 MHz bands on the resource utility side, which is still unbalanced, resulting in traffic that occurs less than what it should be. This indicates the need for optimization to improve the quality of the existing LTE network at the WNG114 Tempursari site, using physical methods and stunting parameters. The results obtained after optimization, from the utility resource sector 1 has become a balance. This is because the resulting gap value is ≤20%, which is 18%. The average payload value obtained from May 17, 2021 to May 23, 2021 (a week) is around 363.84 GB. This value can be said to have reached the predetermined target, which is > 241.28 GB. The average payload and the number of users from April to July get 57.50% or 355.57 GB on the payload, and the average number of users is 53.12% or 308.85 users. This indicates on air L1800 at the WNG114 site, and the optimization has increased from before.
