Abstract

A study has been made of the pollen morphology of three cultivars of Cajanus cajan (L.) Willd. and their hybrids. The pollen grains are 3-colporate and the exinc is areolate. The size of the areolae was found to vary in the hybrids investigated. The morphological analysis indicated dominance of the male parent in the hybrid pollen grains. © 1978, Taylor & Francis Group.
