Abstract

This is a follow-up article (preceding abstract); descriptions are given of the major tourmaline mines in SE Minas Gerais - the Cruzeiro, Golconda, Santa Rosa and Jonas mines, all of which are near Governador Valadares, frequently referred to as the gemstone capital of Brazil. -R.V.D.
