Abstract
This paper analyses the development trends of intelligent instrument interfaces by applying full liquid crystal display technology. A novel reference dimension is introduced to consider related design work. In the perspective of design issues: how can we accurately analyse the requirements of drivers with various proficiency for different information, and how can instrument interfaces intelligently adapt to all kinds of drivers? This paper summarises the key points of the design work based on changing interface analysis in new automobile instruments and provides an analytical approach to targeting driving information: the index weight analysis method. A set of scientific methods to judge the degree of information requirements from various drivers in different scenarios is proposed. Therefore, it can improve the current situation that designers mainly rely on personal experience and subjective judgment when they design automobile instrument interfaces, which lacks scientific and objective judgment basis.
