Abstract

In two places, the article incorrectly summarizes the comparison across international organizations. The correct summary in the abstract and the introduction should read: "Fourthly, comparing across IOs indicates that elite communication is more often effective in relation to the IMF, UN and WTO, than the EU and NAFTA.".
