Abstract
New technologies have transformed education, driving the growth of distance learning, particularly in developed countries, where the majority of higher education institutions have integrated virtual modalities into their programmes. This study, which adopted a qualitative approach and utilised the PRISMA methodology, analysed communication strategies in virtual education and their impact on the learning of first-semester online Communication students at the Universidad Estatal de Milagro. The results underscore the importance of interaction and feedback, evidencing how well-implemented strategies promote an active and collaborative learning environment.
