Abstract

Five new strophanthidin glycosides, strophanthidin glucos-3-ulosyl-cymaroside, glucosyl-digitalosyl-cymaroside, cellobiosyl-cymaroside, digitaloside, and glucosyl-digitaloside, were obtained from the roots of Apocynum venetum L. var. basikurumon Hara, along with free strophanthidin and the common glycosides in Apocynum species, cymarin and k-strophanthidin-β. Strophanthidin glucoside was also obtained. © 1988, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan. All rights reserved.
