Strophanthidin Glycosides from the Roots of Apocynum venetum var. basikurumon (Studies on Apocynum. II)1)

Abstract

Five new strophanthidin glycosides, strophanthidin glucos-3-ulosyl-cymaroside, glucosyl-digitalosyl-cymaroside, cellobiosyl-cymaroside, digitaloside, and glucosyl-digitaloside, were obtained from the roots of Apocynum venetum L. var. basikurumon Hara, along with free strophanthidin and the common glycosides in Apocynum species, cymarin and k-strophanthidin-β.
