Abstract

Relative viscosities of nicotinic acid in D-lactose + water have been measured at different temperatures (298.15, 303.15, 308.15, 313.15) K. The analysis of the viscosity data has been done by using Jones-Dole equation and A and B-coefficients of Jones-Dole equation have been interpreted in terms of solute-solute and solute-solvent interactions. The present study concludes the structure making nature of nicotinic acid in binary aqueous mixtures of D-lactose.
