Abstract
Robots inspire our fantasy, manufacture many of our products, and we would like to see them at home to clean up and keep order behind us. But robots also cause anxiety and represent the fear of technology that gets out of control. This article presents examples of the recent developments in robotics, compares this with other technologies, and presents expected developments and changes. This transformation of robotics is relatively slow and well-covered by existing standards. The data from different studies in production show that future manufacturing without robots or automation would be less successful. The goal must be to master the fear of robots and develop and perceive robots as helpers for humans.
