Abstract
Inintroduction: Hypertension also known as high blood pressure is a common condition where the pressure in the blood rises above the normal 140/90 mmHg. This causes the heart to work faster than usual to pump blood through the blood vessels. Objective: To get an overview of the provision of non-pharmacological therapy to control blood pressure in hypertension. MMethod: Literature Review, the data source for the database is google scholar with the relevance of 2018-2023 in accordance with the subject of writing published in Indonesian and English. Strategy method used to search for articles using the PICO framework with keywords that match the subject related to the analysis of non-pharmacological therapy in controlling blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Articles were selected according to the title, reviewing the abstract or full text according to the comparative approach before being included in the review and conducted a review. Result: from the five journals, it was found that there was a decrease in blood pressure after the administration of non-pharmacological therapy. Conclusion: from the findings of the analysis using data from several articles that non-pharmacological treatment of back massage therapy, warm water foot soak therapy, carrot juice administration, young coconut water administration and bay leaf decoction water administration are effective in controlling blood pressure for hypertensive patients.
