Abstract

Glăveanu’s essay is a call for a radical re-examination not only of the psychology of creativity, but of the entire academ- ic enterprise. It challenges our disciplinary fragmentation and reminds us of the importance of stepping back and under- standing the larger enterprise of inquiry, the need to relate theory and practice, to communicate among disciplines and research programs, and to integrate. Transdisciplinarity is an emerging approach that helps in understanding the challeng- es ahead, and provides directions for future work.
