Abstract

A mild and efficient route for the synthesis of quinolines utilizing cuprous triflate (Cu(OTf)2) as a novel catalyst via Friedländer annulation in excellent yields at room temperature under solvent-free conditions was described. © 2010 Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
