Perlindungan Warisan Budaya di Kabupaten Siak Provinsi Riau

Abstract

Every region in Indonesia has a cultural heritage which is the hallmark of the area. Siak Regency also has a cultural heritage which is its own characteristic, this is in accordance with the city branding of Siak Regency, namely Siak The Truly Malay. Cultural heritage needs to be protected. This research focuses on the protection of cultural heritage in Siak Regency, Riau Province. The research method used is empirical legal research method. Regulations related to cultural heritage are contained in various laws and regulations in force in Indonesia. The Regional Government of Siak Regency provides protection for the cultural heritage in Siak Regency following the applicable regulations, such as by recording, preserving and promoting cultural heritage in Siak Regency.
