Abstract
Available online: 03.03.2020 Cyberloafing is described in the literature as doing one's work during the working hours. This concept is explained in an educational setting as the students spending time on non-class electronic activities during the lesson. This study aims to research the cyberloafing activities of vocational school students during the lesson. The research is designed using the descriptive case study within the qualitative paradigm. The study group of the research consists of 60 vocational school students. The data obtained from the students were interpreted using the content analysis method. The striking result of the research is that the students exhibit cyberloafing during the lesson. Another obtained result regarding students' opinions show that students stated no measures are necessary, students should be aware of their responsibilities, using mobile phones should not be forbidden, no measures can forbid using mobile phones, on the measures that the instructor should take to prevent the adversities caused by using mobile phone applications during the lesson.
