Abstract

Elevated salinity and hypoxia adversely affected biomass, gas exchange functions and growth. Saltwater intrusion is a major factor contributing to the rapid rate of marsh deterioration in coastal Louisiana brackish marshes which are dominated by S. patens. -from Authors
