Abstract
The content of heavy metals analize in mangroves, soil, water, fish and shrimp done in October to November2010. The purpose ofthis study was to determine the best type ofmangrove to absorb pollutants ofheavy metals (Mg, Zn, Cd and As) and content ofpollutants in soil, water, fish and shrimp that live in mangrove waters. Reseach has been conducted at mangrove forest ofCilacap and Alas Purwo National Park. The results showed that in general the largest accumulation ofMg in the leaves and roots, Zn accumulated in the roots and leaves, while Cd in the leaves and roots, As in the leaves and stems of mangroves near the sources ofpollution. In absorb pollutants Avicennia marina (Forsk.) Vierh. species better than Rhizophora apiculata BlumeandCeriops tagalCBRob. this is indicatedby the accumulation of these substances in the tree. Accumulation offour heavy metals on the substrate is concentrated at a distance of0-500mfrom the sources ofpollution, Zn andCdis the largest amount that is equal to 2262.96 ppm and 5.8 ppm in Cilacap, 51.31 ppm and 3.5 ppm in TNAP. The content ofMg in waters tourist dock TNAP accumulation of 5841.5 ppm higher than in Cilacap. Largest Mg content of contaminants accumulated in the shrimp that is equal to 82.63 ppm, fish blanak at 60.30 ppm at locations around Cilacap refinery. Accumulation ofMg in the larger shrimp (ten times) compared with that found in the TNAPshrimp, fish contain contaminants blanakMg4.5 times greater in Cilacap comparedwithTNAP .
