ORTAOKUL ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN YAŞAM BOYU ÖĞRENME EĞİLİMLERİ

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul öğretmenlerinin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerini belirlemek ve çeşitli değişkenlere göre karşılaştırmaktır. Araştırmada, aşağıdaki sorulara cevap aranmıştır: 1. Ortaokul öğretmenlerinin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerinin düzeyi nedir? 2. Ortaokul öğretmenlerinin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimleri, demografik değişkenlere göre anlamlı farklılık göstermekte midir? 3. Ölçeğin alt boyutları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki var mıdır? Bu araştırma anlık tarama modelindedir. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında, Elazığ merkez ve ilçelerin merkezindeki ortaokullarda görev yapan toplam 1602; örneklemini ise, basit tesadüfi örnekleme yolu ile belirlenen toplam 382 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, Diker Coşkun ve Demirel (2009) tarafından geliştirilen “yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimleri (YBÖEÖ)” adlı ölçek kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın bulgularına göre, ortaokul öğretmenlerinin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimleri; güdülenme alt boyutunda çok uyuyor düzeyinde iken,  öğrenmeyi düzenlemede yoksunluk, sebat, merak yoksunluğu alt boyutlarında ve ölçeğin tamamında kısmen uyuyor düzeyindedir.The aim of this research is to determine the lifelong learning tendencies of secondary school teachers and compare them with various variables. In the research, the following questions have been answered. 1. What is the level of life-long learning tendencies of secondary school teachers? 2. Do the lifelong learning tendencies of secondary school teachers significantly differ according to the demographic variables? 3. Is there a meaningful relationship between subscales of the scale? This research is in the instant scanning model. The scale of the research constitutes a total of 1602 secondary school teachers who are in secondary schools in the centre of Elazığ and its districts for the academic year of 2017-2018. The sample is composed of 382 teachers determined by simple random sampling. In the research, the scale of "Lifelong Learning Trends" (YBÖEÖ) developed by Diker Coşkun and Demirel (2009) is used as the data collection tool. According to findings of this study, the tendency of secondary school teachers to lifelong learning in the motivation sub-dimension at the level of “much fits”, while it is “partially fits” in the sub-dimensions of deprivation in learning regulation, persistence, lack of curiosity and in the whole scale.
