Abstract

Kerr Bros implemented a labeling solution for high-quality barcode identification provided by Weber Marking Systems of Mississauga, Ont. The solution developed by Weber was comprised of a `traffic-control'-type system with sensing and timing devices to regulate the flow of cases on the conveyor, and Weber's cornerwrap printer-applicators and exclusive Print-Apply software. The Weber system set-up enables Kerr to print and apply high-quality barcodes and graphics on two adjacent carton sides in a fast and consistent operation.
