Abstract
Photoluminescence measurements show that platinum(II) tetracarbene complexes, which could be obtained via different synthetic routes, are interesting lead structures for the development of blue emitters for PhOLEDs with good quantum yields and high photostability. © The Royal Society of Chemistry.
