A state-of-the-art review on industry 4.0 and related key technologies

Abstract

This paper represents the review on industry 4.0 key technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Simulation, Big data analytics etc. Nowadays, the whole working environment in manufacturing organisations is shifting towards advanced industry 4.0 technologies. Industry 4.0 is combining production, communication, and information up-to-date. IoT is being considered as one of the key technologies in an industry 4.0 connected world along with big data analytics and simulation. Industry 4.0 varies entirely from the 3rd revolution in terms of technologies and operating style. IoT is used for industries as Industrial internet of things (IIoT). These IIoT are combined with Cyber-Physical-Systems (CPS), big data, simulation for providing better and advanced industrial set up.
