Tyrosine kinase inhibitors

Abstract

Tyrosine kinase inhibitors are the most attractive biological therapeutic agents targeting cancer cells. The appearance of Gefitinib and Greevec, which are effective for non-small cell lung cancer and chronic myeloid leukemia, respectively, is going to change the circumstances of conventional anticancer chemotherapies. Here, I will chiefly review the clinical profile of Gefitinib.
