Abstract
The rapid advancement of technology, particularly in virtual reality (VR), is revolutionizing the tourism industry by offering immersive, interactive experiences. Traditional methods of disseminating tourism information often lack engagement and depth. In contrast, VR enhances tourism by creating realistic, three-dimensional environments. The integration of computer-aided design (CAD) enables high-precision 3D modeling, resulting in detailed, lifelike virtual scenic environments. This study shows that VR and CAD not only improve tourism experiences but also boost tourist satisfaction. Case studies, including virtual tours of iconic sites such as the Forbidden City and the Great Wall of China, demonstrate that effective object representation and collision detection techniques enhance user engagement. Additionally, big data analysis helps identify areas for improvement in user experience. As technology advances and costs decrease, VR and CAD are set to redefine how tourism information is shared, improving tourism marketing strategies.
