Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine how the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology affects tothe latency in an IP network when using different dynamicrouting protocols. For the purposes of the study, a virtual IPnetwork was created, in which was sequentially configuredto work with Routing Information Protocol (RIP),Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) andOpen Shortest Path First (OSPF). The studies wereperformed without configured and then with configuredMPLS. Techniques, methods and tools used in themonitoring of IP networks were used during the study of thenetwork
