Pemberdayaan Karang Taruna Unit Padukuhan Kalipucang dalam Pemenuhan Hak Kesehatan Remaja Melalui Posyandu Remaja

Abstract

Youth organization of Padukuhan Kalipucang has formed an integrated health service for young people with the name Posyandu Remaja Abhisar Sahi since 2019 but it has not been effectively implemented and was even not run during the Covid 19 pandemic. The formation of such service was initially motivated by several youth problems, especially the high rate of early marriage since 2016 until now, the high abuse of psychotropic drugs among adolescents, and the awareness of young people to obtain alternative health services with the aim of preventing and early detecting of Non-Communicable Diseases. The problems faced by Karang Taruna of the Kalipucang Padukuhan Unit were analyzed by the community service team in running the Youth Posyandu, including problems with health services that did not meet national standards, limited quality of human resources, and a lack of health education and health counseling facilitation. The method used in this activity uses counseling, mentoring and group discussion methods. The solution to the effectiveness of youth Posyandu through recalibration of Youth Posyandu medical devices based on proper Posyandu health equipment standards, the need for youth health training facilities and health counseling guidance at youth Posyandu, as well as education on adolescent health rights.
