Abstract

This work proposes the use of a combination of gossip and consensus algorithms to allow a power grid to be self-organized by its components, adapting to the changes in the demand and compensating the possible failures that may occur. The Balearic Power Grid has been used to check the validity of the proposal. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2014.
